WHY I STARTED CENTRAL LOGISTICS CO & KAPREE:
Central Logistics Co & The KaPree International™ Platform weren't built in a boardroom. They were built in the field on I-24 and I-85.
I’m from Anderson, South Carolina. In 2017, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where I was introduced to structured sales systems, the real value of networking, and the discipline required to communicate clearly under pressure. Over the next four years, I built and led teams, trained multiple startups across the Midwest and Southeastern United States, and developed replicable systems that produced consistent results.
More importantly, I learned how businesses scale—or fail—based on communication, accountability, and process.
When COVID disrupted industries nationwide, I was presented with opportunities to relocate to Indianapolis, Chicago, Jackson (MS), Dallas, Charleston, and Nashville. I chose Nashville, where I entered the dispatch and transportation industry.
That’s where everything clicked.
I founded KB Direct Consulting and Frontera Distribution Co., an owner-operator organization delivering elite dispatch and over-the-road freight services across the continental United States. While the freight moved, the problems became obvious: loads handled by too many people, information lost between handoffs, late invoicing, inconsistent communication, and frustrated brokers and shippers.
What stood out most was how often brokers thanked me for simply doing the basics—communicating clearly, arriving on time, and honoring contractual obligations. That feedback wasn’t a compliment to me; it was an indictment of a broken system.
The industry wasn’t short on loads or trucks. It was short on structure. So, I went back to what I knew best—systems design.
Using the same principles that I learned in sales, operations, and team scaling, I set out to build an ecosystem that centralized dispatch, reduced human error, minimized delays, and removed unnecessary friction from the load lifecycle. The goal was simple: fewer touchpoints, clearer accountability, faster execution.
That vision became the KaPree International™ Platform.
Truckers shouldn’t wait to be paid because of sloppy invoicing. Brokers shouldn’t have to chase updates on active loads. Shippers and receivers should trust that their freight is handled with urgency, transparency, and integrity.
The KaPree International™ Platform is now owned by KaPree Distribution Group, LLC, and licensed to and operated by Central Logistics Co, LLC. This structure allows us to protect the platform, maintain operational clarity, and scale responsibly.
KaPree isn’t just about moving freight.
It’s about fixing what everyone complains about—but rarely builds.
